GAME PHILOSOPHY:
This section is the specific breakdown of the style of play the coach envisages the team to play, "the big playing picture", without this no meaningful coaching can take place. Although titled Game Philosophy, most coaches know it as the "Game Style". The Soccer Planner enables the coach to record in a logical manner the key elements of his or her game style.
This interactive and interesting session planning tool allows any coach in an easy user friendly manner to plan/record/share or archive all types of sessions, warm-ups, set plays and playing formations. All of the components that a coach needs to compile any type of session plan are readily available. Plans can be devised with minimum effort and maximum effectiveness.
SEASON COACHING PLANNER:
SESSION PLANNING:
This breaks the season into smaller phases to enable the coach to prioritize his/her coaching program according to the time of the playing season. It includes the following phases which allows the coach to plan outcomes in blocks of 4 to 8 weeks to give structure to each phase of the season:
· Pre Pre Season
· Early Season
· Late Season
· Post Season
Once the phases are completed the coach outlines his/her coaching requirements : Tactical, Technical, Physiological, Psychological, Administrative and Organizational.
SCOUTING REPORTS:
There are two types of scouting reports available within the Soccer Planner. The first is an "Individual Player Assessment Report" and the second is a "Team Assessment Report". These comprehensive reports allow coaches to assess players they may wish to sign or record the strengths and weaknesses of future opponents. Coaches can store these reports for later use.
TEAM SHEET:
This section of the Soccer Planner is for the coach to record on a regular basis, the progress and assessment o his or her playing squad. The profile covers the playing development, psychological development and physiological development of each individual player. Each reports suggests elements to assess as well as allowing the coach to introduce their own training priorities. The coach can efficiently monitor player’s developments and prioritise areas for player improvement.
PLAYER PROFILES:
Use Player Profiles to record and assess player’s development.
The team sheet provides a facility to record, print and display the players and substitutes selected for each individual game. Venues, dates and opposition are noted on the report. Organizational information for the players and staff such as meeting times, transport, etc. which the coach can email or print and display in a tidy format on the club notice board or website.
Use the Team Sheet to record and display fixture details.
When you plan scouting trips the Soccer Planner makes it easy
· Mid Season
· Pre Season Phase 1 & 2
The coach then breaks down the tactical/technical requirements of each element. You can then save and archive for later use. From game to game or season to season assess your play against your predetermined game style.
DIARY CALENDAR EMAIL:
1. The Club/Group Membership is designed for clubs or groups of coaches and has the facility for the Head Coach to access the planners of assistant coaches in order to provide help and mentoring.
2. Individual Membership is for "solo coaches" to develop and record their work.
